Joe has consulted on Risk management and planning with organisations including TUSLA, The Wheel, Tuath Housing Association, Disability Federation Ireland, Pieta House and Bord na Mona.
He has taught Risk at UCD Smurfit Graduate School of Business for over 20 years, and has developed tools which take risk management further than the “standard” registers used by many companies.
Joe also runs regular Risk training for The Wheel and has trained hundreds of charity and non-profit staff in risk management and assessment techniques.

As co-creator and Director of the Master’s in Project Management at one of the world’s top 100 business schools – UCD Smurfit – Joe built on a career working in multi-nationals and running teams all over the world.
He has run projects and programmes involving thousands of people, and taught/trained thousands of students at every level from beginner up to PhD in this business-critical discipline.
